Wisdom Awakening: returning to feminine power and ancestral clarity

Your personal healing is a planetary act

The quite knowing

Something in you is stirring. You might not have fully named it yet, but the knowing is there, not just in your body, though perhaps there too. It lives deeper, somewhere beneath the surface – a persistent whisper, a growing clarity, or an undeniable longing that refuses to be silenced any longer.

You have done everything that was expected of you. You’ve held it all together – the career, the relationships, the endless responsibilities that pile upon your shoulders. You’ve followed the ‘right’ path, stretched yourself thin to meet impossible standards, and tried your best to stay positive while the world around you seems to unravel at an alarming pace.

But something in you is done

You are finished with performing. You are through with pretending. You can no longer participate in a version of womanhood that has always been designed for someone else’s benefit rather than your own authentic expression.

And that knowing stirring within you? It’s not rebellion or defiance. It’s wisdom. It represents the first spark of remembering who you truly are beneath the layers of conditioning and expectation that have accumulated over a lifetime.

The forgotten lineage

We have been conditioned to doubt our deeper knowing, to see women’s intuition as something mysterious or unreliable rather than our natural birthright. The patriarchal systems that shape our society have deliberately disconnected us from the powerful lineage of feminine wisdom that once guided communities through countless generations.

But that distortion is not the truth of who we are. The wise woman was never meant to be silent or sidelined. She was meant to rise and take her rightful place as a leader, healer, and visionary.

Throughout human history, women held the pulse of their communities through their innate understanding of natural cycles and deep listening. They were the fire-keeper, the truth-teller, the bridge between worlds – not because they were secondary, but because they had earned their clarity, their rhythm, and their voice through direct experience and communion with life itself.

In ancestral societies across the globe, women’s wisdom guided crucial decisions about everything from food security to conflict resolution. They weren’t dismissed or marginalized – they were actively sought out for their perspective and insights that balanced and completed the masculine approach to problem-solving.

But we have lost conscious connection to that powerful lineage in our modern world. We’ve trivialized women’s knowing, medicalized our natural processes, and covered over our intuitive gifts with self-help platitudes and superficial wellness products that treat symptoms rather than restore wholeness.

And in doing so, we’ve robbed women – and by extension, our entire society – of their rightful power: the authority of their own knowing that arises from within rather than being imposed from without.

Modern disconnection, ancient roots

Look around at the state of our world today: we are collectively unwell. Our food systems are fundamentally broken, operating on extraction rather than reciprocity. Our soil is rapidly dying, depleted of the microbial life that sustains all terrestrial existence. Our communities are increasingly fragmented, with meaningful connections replaced by digital distraction and superficial networking. Our bodies are treated like machines to be optimized and upgraded instead of wisdom keepers to be honored and listened to with reverence.

We are constantly told to count calories and fear fat, creating generations of women at war with their own bodies. We’re encouraged to numb pain instead of listening to its important messages, to push through exhaustion rather than honoring our need for rest, to smile more and ‘stay busy’ regardless of the cost to our well-being and clarity of purpose.

Our natural rhythms have become profoundly disconnected from the land, the sky, and the cycles we were designed to live within and express through our being. We have forgotten that we are nature, not separate from it, and that this separation lies at the root of our collective illness.

And still, we wonder why so many of us feel exhausted, anxious, foggy, and spiritually starved despite unprecedented material abundance. The answer lies in what we’ve forgotten, but deep down, we remember. Our bodies retain this ancient knowledge despite our conscious amnesia. The Earth remembers too, patiently waiting for us to return to the right relationship with her systems and cycles.

This awakening isn’t just about personal health or wellness – it’s about restoring harmony to our entire way of being in the world. It requires embracing regenerative living that gives back more than it takes. It means returning to food that nourishes both body and land simultaneously, grown in living soil rather than dead dirt doused with chemicals. It invites us to reclaim nourishment, community connection, and soul expression as fundamental birthrights rather than luxury items available only to the privileged few.

What we've forgotten, and what we can reclaim

For the vast majority of human existence, we lived in tribal communities where our interdependence was acknowledged rather than denied. Food was understood as sacred – a direct connection between the Earth’s abundance and our continued survival, not a commodity to be engineered for profit and convenience. Women regularly gathered in circles to share wisdom and mark life’s transitions, creating spaces where vulnerability became strength and individual challenges could be met with collective intelligence.

In these contexts, you didn’t need to fix yourself to be worthy of belonging. You didn’t have to shrink your presence, hustle for validation, or guess what your body needed – because you were surrounded by women who had walked the path before you and could offer guidance based on generations of accumulated wisdom. Your worth was inherent, not something to be earned through achievement or appearance.

Now, we navigate life’s most profound challenges while isolated and often over-medicated, treating our natural responses to an unnatural world as pathologies to be suppressed rather than messages to be heeded. We are sold endless self-improvement products instead of being offered authentic mentorship that could actually transform our relationship with ourselves and the world. We’ve been taught to compete with other women rather than collaborate with them, fragmenting our collective power into individual ambitions that ultimately serve systems that don’t sustain us.

And yet, despite these centuries of disconnection, the memory of our true nature remains alive within us. It resonates in your bones when you stand beneath a full moon or plunge your hands into fertile soil. It speaks through your cravings for deeper nourishment than processed food and superficial connection can provide. It lives in the rage you’ve had to swallow when your knowing was dismissed, and in the strength that continues rising underneath that silencing, refusing to be extinguished.

This remembering that is awakening within you isn’t merely nostalgia for a simpler time – it’s the key to your next becoming and to our collective evolution into a more harmonious way of being on this planet.

“This remembering that is awakening within you isn’t merely nostalgia — it’s the key to your next becoming.”

Why this moment matters

What’s happening within you transcends personal development or self-improvement. It is profoundly planetary in its implications and timing. The Earth is in an undeniable state of crisis, with climate systems destabilizing, biodiversity collapsing, and social structures straining under the weight of their own contradictions. And simultaneously, women across the globe are waking up to their inherent wisdom and power in unprecedented numbers.

This synchronicity is not mere coincidence – it reflects a cosmic design that has always connected women’s bodies and knowing with the rhythms of the natural world. The Earth is calling forth our leadership because regenerative principles are encoded in our very biology.

When women fully remember and embody their power, they become ungovernable by systems of exploitation and extraction. Not because they descend into chaos, but because they stand rooted in clarity that sees beyond short-term gains to the welfare of the whole community across generations. This clarity recognizes falsehood immediately and refuses to compromise core values for temporary comfort or approval.

Our world desperately needs this kind of woman now – the one who no longer waits for permission to speak her truth or take necessary action. The woman who leads from her gut instinct rather than second-guessing her direct knowing, who speaks with her whole chest rather than diminishing her voice, and who carries the wisdom of lifetimes behind her eyes, seeing both the immediate situation and its place in the larger pattern simultaneously.

We don’t need more women merely striving to be accepted by fundamentally broken systems or achieving success within paradigms that are actively destroying the conditions for life on Earth. We need women to remember they were born to remake these systems entirely, guided by principles of reciprocity, regeneration, and reverence for all life.

From wisdom to action

This awakening isn’t theoretical.
It’s lived.

It’s not about more information or inspiration or tools.
It’s about embodiment.
Integration.
Walking it.
Choosing it.
Becoming it.

Your clarity deepens when you reconnect with your body’s wisdom. When you notice how certain foods drain your energy while others enliven you. When you align your work with your natural rhythms instead of forcing yourself into artificial productivity cycles.

As this wisdom emerges, you’ll find yourself making decisions with unexpected certainty, noticing insights about situations that previously confused you. You might discover an ability to see through cultural messaging that once shaped your choices, or feel a deep knowing about what your body and spirit truly need.

This is more than improved cognitive function, though many women report sharper thinking and better memory as they reclaim their inner wisdom. It’s something deeper – an awakening of ancient knowing that’s been waiting beneath layers of modern conditioning and physical disruption.

Living regeneratively

Regenerative agriculture teaches us that true healing comes from restoring natural systems, not just treating symptoms. The same wisdom applies to our bodies and communities.

When you choose foods grown in living soil, you’re not just nourishing yourself – you’re supporting systems that capture carbon, build topsoil, and restore watersheds. When you honor your body’s natural cycles and rest requirements, you’re not just preventing burnout – you’re modeling sustainable energy for everyone around you.

Your healing becomes a form of leadership.

As your physical vitality returns and mental clarity deepens, your true values become increasingly clear. Activities and relationships that once seemed important might lose their appeal, while new possibilities begin to emerge.

Many women discover that as they step into their wisdom, they naturally begin taking leadership roles in their communities, whether through formal positions or simply by becoming the grounded presence others seek out for guidance.

Finding your cohort

Building a trusted community takes on new significance when you’re walking this path of awakening. While modern life often isolates us, meaningful transformation flourishes in connection with others.

Consider creating or joining a small group of women walking similar paths. Unlike casual social groups, these circles provide space for authentic sharing, mutual support, and collaborative growth. Some women find their circle naturally among neighbors or long-time friends. Others connect through shared interests – healing arts, creative expression, walking groups, or community service.

The key is not how you find each other, but the depth and authenticity you maintain together.

Your local community provides another vital sphere for expressing your wisdom. While global problems can feel overwhelming, tremendous power lies in effecting change in your immediate environment. This could mean mentoring younger women, organizing community gardens, or simply being the wise presence who notices when someone needs support.

Small actions, multiplied through consistent presence, create profound impact.

The invitation

This is for the woman who can’t go back.
Who knows too much now.
Who wants to live in rhythm, in clarity, in truth – not just for herself, but for the generations that follow.

This is for the woman who’s ready to lead from within.
Who feels the Earth humming beneath her feet and the fire humming in her belly.

If that’s you – walk with me.

Let this be your return.
Not to the past, but to the truth that never left you.

Your journey brings unique gifts that our world particularly needs now. Your ancestors understood this life phase as an initiation into deeper knowing, when women’s perspectives naturally expanded from individual family needs to wider community well-being.

As your vitality returns and clarity deepens, you’ll likely notice your perception shifting in useful ways. The same clear thinking that helps you recognize the truth in complex situations naturally extends to supporting others’ understanding.

This isn’t just about your personal transformation – it’s about the ripple effect that moves through your family, your work, your community, and the Earth itself.

Begin your return.

“Your healing becomes a form of leadership.”

This is one of the core invitations in ‘Menopause Liberation’ – to reclaim this inner authority and walk with it.
If you’re ready to embody this remembrance in your life and work, you’re welcome to reach out.’
